Welcome back to another #MusicMonday! It’s not about books, but about music, and I’m looking forward to presenting you with a taste of my playlist. It’s the brainchild of Drew from The Tattooed Book Geek, but my inspiration comes from the lovely Claire from A Knight’s Reads. Every Monday, I’ll be choosing a song to share with you. The Spotify playlist is here and it will be updated as I go along.

Once again, I’ve struggled with inspiration for #MusicMonday this week. However, I did recently enjoy watching the Channel 4 adaptation of Trespasses, which has a brilliant soundtrack, so I’ve chosen a track from it (and I might come back to it in later weeks).

I heard his fiancée got a letter
That told how Billy died that day
The letter said that he was a hero
She should be proud he died that way
I heard she threw the letter away
