Blurb:

The scene played over and over in his mind. He only had one choice left. He had to die.

Behind the high and imposing gates of a prestigious college, five students have taken their lives. All of them friends, all of them good kids, all of them dead within months of each other. When FBI Agent Jess Bishop is called in to investigate, what she discovers will make her just as vulnerable as the students she’s trying to protect. As Jess begins to unravel the secrets behind the deaths, she uncovers something much more sinister at the school and she is determined to find out who is at the centre of it.Though her team think they’re closing in on the ringleader, Jess becomes convinced they’re going after the wrong person, forcing her to investigate on her own. Desperate to stop any more deaths, she risks everything by putting herself in the firing line. But just how far would she go to save the lives of those around her?

An absolutely gripping thriller that will have your pulse racing. Catch Your Death is perfect for fans of Robert Dugoni, Karin Slaughter and Lisa Gardner.

Review:

Jess Bishop is back and I am so glad to be reunited with her! She’s feisty and determined and quick thinking and I can’t think of anyone better to handle this case  Luckily, Jess’ boss, Jeanie, feels the same way, and what follows is a tense and dangerous race against time to find who is responsible. Jess’ team are closer than ever before and I love the relationship between them all and how they all bring different skills and personality traits to their work.

I believe Catch Your Death is read better as part of the series in the correct order  as there are several references to Jess’ past in this book. It is her dark past that makes her a unique detective and, like some of her colleagues in this novel, I sometimes  wonder how she passed the psychological fitness for work tests, but her past made her who she is today and gave her some of the skills I have come to admide in her.

Scott has made the boarding school environment a very sinister one and I found this very intriguing. I wanted to know what secrets were hidden within the school walls and could not rest until I knew the answers!

The ending gives us a very exciting situation for the next book in the series and I look forward to seeing what happens next!
