Today I’m delighted to be sharing my review of Endgame. It’s a shorter story that Carol Wyer has written to conclude her Robyn Carter series. My review is written with thanks to Carol Wyer for inviting me to read and review this story.
It’s always a pleasure to spend some time with Robyn Carter, so I approached Endgame with a mixture of excitement and sadness, knowing that this story signals the end of the series. Despite the fact that it is a very quick read, there is a lot packed into it with an investigation and aspects of Robyn’s personal life that require our attention. As always, Wyer’s writing drew me in and would not let me go.
One of the things I love about Wyer’s longer work is her ability to build characters in detail to help the reader understand how they might or might not have been involved in the crime. Endgame is no different, and although there is less scope for detail, we are still given valuable insight into the characters’ lives.
I obviously don’t want to give away spoilers for the ending, but it is one that complements the main series perfectly.
Endgame is published as part of The Chosen Ones on Amazon. It is not available as a stand alone book.
Carol Wyer will be reading Endgame on her YouTube channel every day from today.
