Review:

The Colter Shaw series is the first series I have read by Jeffery Deaver which means The Goodbye Man is only my second outing with his books. I really enjoyed it and I appreciated the opportunity to get to know the central character better and learn about his family relationships. He’s quick thinking and assertive, but he’s also very compassionate and this comes across well in this particular setting. He is a character I could really root for as the storyline progressed.

The Osiris Camp is probably the last place you would find me but I loved the way it was set up in so much detail. It was really easy for me to picture the scenes and imagine what was going on in the different sessions.

I felt that The Goodbye Man did take some time to pick up pace, but once it did it was explosive! There is a definite sense of danger which increased the tension and made me want to understand what was happening. There are a few twists as we reach the end and I felt the ending sets the reader up perfectly for the next installment, which I look forward to reading!

The Goodbye Man is available from Amazon.
