Review:

After reading Mind Guerrilla last month, I was intrigued to see where Tracey would take the characters to whom we’d been so carefully introduced. The direction in which it goes was not at all what I expected but the characters are still given room to breathe and develop and I enjoyed spending time with them again. 

Club 27 is somewhat shorter than Mind Guerrilla and I think this makes it much more fast paced so it held my attention more easily. There is an undercurrent of tension through the whole novel and I liked how it began to come together as it progressed. There are a few different strands to the plot and I found them all intriguing.

The concept of Club 27 is well known in popular culture but I was interested to learn that there are some more complex theories of which I was not previously aware. Tracey has researched the theories and the concept of numerology really well and I was fascinated by it. 

I am once again interested to see where the author takes us in the next part of the series.
