ONE HOUSE
EIGHT KILLERS
NO WITNESSES
Jeanette is the manager of a probation hostel that houses high risk offenders released on license.
At 3am one morning, she receives a call telling her a resident has been murdered.
Her whole team, along with the eight convicted murderers, are now all suspects in a crime no one saw committed…
Don’t miss the first nerve-shredding standalone thriller from Noelle Holten, author of the Maggie Jamieson series.
Review:
I’m a massive fan of the Maggie Jamieson series so I was really excited to finally get my hands on 6 Ripley Avenue. These characters are obviously unfamiliar, but they are very well developed. The chapters which alternate between viewpoints, including that of “The Killer” help us to get to know them and the motivation behind what they do.
Whilst I knew that probation houses existed, I had no idea how they operated or integrated into the local community. This setting is Noelle Holten’s background so the procedure feels very authentic and it was easy to become involved in the story. There were a few acronyms or processes where I had to seek clarification, but overall these don’t have a negative effect on the flow of the story.
Noelle Holten is a talented writer and she writes with a fast paced style that kept me hooked all the way through. She ends each chapter on a cliffhanger, which means you just have to keep reading! The novel is plotted really well and although there are a limited number of suspects, I had no idea who the killer was until the final pages!
There is definitely scope for Sloane to return in another book and I would absolutely love to read a sequel!
6 Ripley Avenue is available from Amazon.
