Today I am sharing my 20 Books Of Summer for 2024! I’ve been (trying to) do this challenge for around 5 years now, but although I’ve always read 20 books, I’ve never managed to complete my initial list. But this year is another year, and I’ve decided to join in again.
20 Books Of Summer is a challenge run by Cathy at 746 Books. The idea is to read 20 books between 1st June and 1st September, but Cathy is fairly flexible and you can alter the number of books in your challenge or swap books in your list.
It’s not too late for you to pick your own list and join in. Just share your list with Cathy here and let us know your progress using the Twitter hashtag – #20booksofsummer24.
My list for 2024 is a bit of a mix of everything. I’ve tried to choose a few different genres and a more diverse group of authors, but mostly they are books that I’ve been meaning to read for a while. To my absolute embarrassment, there’s a few on the list that were there last year that I STILL haven’t got around to!
So without further ado, here is my list:
Deepa Anaparra: Djinn Patrol On The Purple Line
Graham Bartlett: Bad For Good
Lucy Beaumont: Drinking Custard: Diary Of A Confused Mum
SA Cosby: Blacktop Wasteland
Mike Gayle: A Song Of Me And You
Robert Gold: Ten Seconds
Louise Jensen: The Intruders
Ellie Keel: The Four
Vaseem Khan: Midnight At Malabar House
Angela Marsons: Broken Bones
Beth O’Leary: The Road Trip
Lucinda Riley: The Shadow Sister
Laura Shepherd-Robinson: Daughters Of Night
Simon Stephenson: Sometimes People Die
Benjamin Stevenson: Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone
Emma Styles: No Country For Girls
CJ Tudor: The Gathering
Paige Toon: Only Love Can Hurt Like This
Stuart Turton: The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle
Stacy Willingham: A Flicker In The Dark

I can’t wait to see your lists!
Just listened to The Road Trip recently and loved it!
