Today I’m delighted to be taking part in the blog tour for All At Sea by sharing a guest post from author Gemma Roman. It is presented with thanks to Anne Cater for inviting me on the tour and of course, to Gemma Roman for writing her guest post.
Blurb:
Alice is young, in love and living on the Cornish coast. Life should be perfect. But Alice is about to meet someone who will make her question everything.
Guest Post:
Gemma Roman shares ten things about herself.
Ten Things About Me
1/ I dream of one day being a full-time writer / reviewer and ideally living by the sea.
2/ I can’t read or write in silence – I enjoy listening to acoustic singer songwriters or sometimes classic rock and power ballads during a writing sprint.
3/ My happy place would have wine, chocolate, a book to read / write, my partner and a view of the sea (though, for now, the latter is optional)
4/ I’m scared of clowns.
5/ I love exploring new places – My favourite holiday so far was a week-long trip around Italy. I’d highly recommend a slice of pizza and aperol spritz sat by the canal in Venice.
6/ I’m halfway through my 50th book of the year (which will see my achieve my Goodreads goal) I’m reading Violet by SJI Holliday and loving it, though I have no idea how I’ll choose my top 10 of 2019.
7/ My partner and I often go for short trips within the UK and my first port of call is usually to find the independent bookshops before relaxing with a glass of wine to look at what we’ve found.
8/ My favourite colours are purple and aqua.
9/ I like reading a wide range of genres – from dystopian to women’s fiction, memoir to thriller – and I love stories with a witchcraft theme.
10/ In the past few years I’ve discovered a passion for experimenting in the kitchen. I’ve always liked cooking but never had the confidence to become more adventurous with recipes.
