Review:

A measure of how much I loved The Kindness Of Psychopaths is that I was supposed to buddy read this book with three other people. I wrote a schedule so we could all read the same amount each day without giving each other spoilers and, well, the schedule was abandoned fairly quickly! It is so fast paced and full of action that it was impossible to put it down after only a few chapters! 

Gorevan has written some fantastic characters in The Kindness Of Psychopaths and none of them are people I’d want to hang out with any time soon. It was impossible to know who to trust, but whether they are psychopaths is for us as readers to decide! 

There is so much going on in the novel and I have a lot of admiration for the way it is plotted, and little details that seem insignificant at the beginning have new relevance as we reach the conclusion. It’s not a book for the faint hearted and it’s perhaps not one you should read just before tea, but the tension and the twists and turns kept me absolutely hooked! 

The ending definitely sets us up for a sequel so I will be keeping my eyes peeled!
