I’m delighted to be taking part in the blog tour for Bound today. My review is written with thanks to Anne Cater for inviting me on the tour and to Orenda Books for my copy of the book.

Review:

I absolutely love the Sam Shephard series and I was delighted to be reunited with her and the rest of her team once more. She is a woman after my own heart who is not afraid to speak her mind and put her head above the parapet if she feels something isn’t right. In Bound, she also has some personal issues and I found it interesting, if a little emotional, to see how she handled these.

The investigation that forms the plot of Bound is quite complex and it is testament to Symon’s wonderful skill that she can make the story so engaging to follow. It was clear to me from quite early on that not everything would be as it seems and I was keen to discover who was responsible for the crimes and why they had done so. The last third of the novel is totally explosive and I was gripped by the information that was being uncovered.

Whilst poignant, the ending of Bound sets the reader up perfectly for the next installment in the series and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
